ManuLoc Wrist Brace

The Bauerfeind ManuLoc Wrist Brace is a wrist orthosis which is prescribed for use in following diagnosis of a "mouse hand", carpal tunnel syndrome, after an operation or other irritation. It keeps the wrist still while allowing gripping movements. Inappropriate mechanical stress should be avoided. It is lightweight, skin-friendly, breathable materials with additional air holes, easy to put on and take off - especially with just one hand. Feels very comfortable even after long of wearing. It can be worn on the right or the left wrist.

• Securing the wrist during both extension/flexion and radial/ulnar movements thanks to aluminum stays
• The orthosis prevents incorrect positioning of the distal and proximal parts of the wrist
• Anatomically shaped metacarpal stay stabilizes the wrist in a functional position and can be individually adjusted
• The design of the orthosis enables functional gripping movements, thus maintaining mobility
• Practical Velcro fastenings and retraction stopping devices on the straps make it easy for the patient to put on the orthosis using only one hand
• Great freedom of movement for the thumb thanks to large thumb openings on both sides
• Edges finished using ultrasonic welding for increased durability and an improved look
• Metacarpal stay with ventilation slots and stays at the sides made of aluminum are individually shapeable

Care Instructions

• Can be washed separately by hand with a mild detergent at maximum 30°C (lukewarm)
• Remove the three rods before washing
• To maintain functionality of the Velcro fasteners for a long time and to avoid damage, close the Velcro before washing
• Do not expose to direct heat
